Interval Fund

An interval fund is an investment company registered under the Investment Company Act of 1940 Act that periodically offers to repurchase a portion of its shares from shareholders. Interval funds are closed end funds, but unlike most closed end funds, the shares of interval funds generally do not trade on the secondary market. Interval funds continuously offer their shares at a price based on the fund’s net asset value.
