Multilateral Development Bank. For purposes of the CFTC’s and Prudential Regulators’ uncleared swaps margin rules, MDBs include an enumerated list of institutions in addition to any other entity that provides financing for national or regional development in which the U.S. government is a shareholder or contributing member or which the relevant Agency determines poses comparable credit risk.
