KID

Key Information Document. KID will be a new pan-European pre-contractual disclosure document to be introduced by the PRIIPs Regulation, when it becomes effective in December 2016, that all retail investors should receive when they are considering purchasing investment products regulated by the PRIIPs Regulation. KIDs will be required to be short (no more than 3 pages of A4), plainly worded documents that provide investors with key information in relation to the investment product to assist in potential investors’ investment decisions and provide easy comparability with other similar products.
