Single Resolution Mechanism. This is closely linked to the SSM and centrally implements the BRRD and the framework for the recovery and resolution of credit institutions in the Eurozone and other participating member states. The ECB is the resolution authority for the SRM. The SRM establishes the SRF. The SRM Regulation came into force in August 2014.
